Tribal Trust Statements of Performance

OST provides periodic Statements of Performance to authorized recipients on more than 2,800 tribal accounts. Those statements list current and historical information related to financial assets owned by each account, including:

  • Overall allocation of assets held by type, including:
    • U.S. Treasury securities
    • Securities issued by U.S. Government Sponsored Enterprises
    • Mortgage-backed securities
  • Maturity distribution of securities held, including:
    • Less than one year
    • 1 to 3 years
    • 3 to five years
    • 5 to 7 years
    • 7 to 10 years
    • More than 10 years
  • A description of each security, including:
    • Name of issuer
    • Amount (par value) of the security owned
    • Interest rate paid by the security
    • Date when the security will mature
  • Statistical information, including:
    • Cost of each security
    • Current market value of the security at the date of the report
    • Amount of unrealized gain or loss of each security as of the date of the report
    • Anticipated amount of annual income earned by the security
    • Yield at cost of that income
  • Recent transaction history, including:
    • Dates, descriptions and amounts of securities purchased
    • Dates, descriptions and amounts of securities matured or sold
    • Dates descriptions and amounts of income received from securities owned
    • Dates descriptions and amounts of income received from other sources (e.g., oil, gas, forestry.)
    • Dates, descriptions, amounts and recipients of funds distributed
