Secretary Salazar to Make Onshore, Offshore Renewable Energy Announcements

WASHINGTON DC – On Tuesday, Dec. 20, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will hold a news media teleconference to make several announcements regarding Interior’s renewable energy programs – both onshore and offshore. Secretary Salazar will also discuss the Obama Administration’s progress over the past two years in spurring the responsible development of utility-scale renewable energy facilities on public lands and Atlantic offshore sites.

Salazar will be joined by Deputy Secretary David J. Hayes; Director of the Bureau of Land Management Bob Abbey; and Director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Tommy P. Beaudreau.
