ST. LOUIS, Mo. – On Wednesday, Dec. 21, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood will hold a press conference to discuss the $20 million TIGER III grant awarded to the Missouri Department of Transportation and the CityArchRiver 2015 initiative. They will be joined by U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay, Missouri Department of Transportation Director Kevin Keith and U.S. Representatives Wm. Lacy Clay and Russ Carnahan.
The Department of Transportation announced that 46 transportation projects in 33 states and Puerto Rico will receive a total of $511 million from the third round of DOT’s popular TIGER program.
