WASHINGTON, D.C. —Tomorrow, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis will join Governor Bob McDonnell in Richmond for a town hall meeting to discuss how to boost tourism and travel in Virginia as a means to strengthen local economies and create jobs. As Virginia’s third largest industry, tourism brings in approximately $18.9 billion and supports over 200,000 jobs annually.

Following the town hall, Secretary Salazar, Director Jarvis and Governor McDonnell will make a major announcement regarding the Richmond National Battlefield Park.
