ON THURSDAY, DEC. 10, 2009, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Assistant Secretary for Water and Science Anne Castle will make an announcement concerning Glen Canyon Dam and Grand Canyon National Park at the Colorado River Water Users Association conference in Las Vegas, Nev. Secretary Salazar, who is participating in the global climate summit in Copenhagen, will speak by video, while Assistant Secretary Castle is in Las Vegas to speak in person to the approximately 800 conferees at the meeting.
