ON THURSDAY, NOV. 12, 2009, Deputy Secretary of the Interior David J. Hayes will deliver the keynote address for the “Surfacing the Solutions” water conference at the Westin Bonaventura Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The conference features federal and state leaders, natural resource experts, elected officials and community stakeholders who will present potential solutions to California current drought-induced water crisis and long-term water supply challenges.
Lester A. Snow, Director of California Department of Water Resources, will also speak at the conference. The event is hosted by Coro, a non-profit, non-partisan educational institute to bring together urban, agricultural and environmental interests.
